Description of the laboratory course

This laboratory course (TÜ4) takes place summer semester. This course is organised in a cooperation with the Institute of Electrical Machines (IEM) and the Institute of Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA).

Course contents

  • Dynamic behaviour of DC machines (IEM)
  • Asynchronous machine with constant stator- and rotor-flux linkage (IEM)
  • Permanent-magnet synchronous machine with rotor position sensor (IEM)
  • Controlled four-quadrant-propulsion with DC machine (ISEA)
  • Field oriented control of induction machines (ISEA)
  • Position Control of a servo drive (ISEA)
  • Computer aided network planning (IAEW)
  • Power flow control in interconnected systems (IAEW)
  • Transient stability (IAEW)
  • High Voltage Measurement / High Voltage Divider (IAEW)
  • Transient processes on wires: travelling waves (IAEW)
  • EMC Interference Launch (IAEW)
